For the hundredth anniversary of the painter Carla Badiali's birth (1907-1992), about 150 documents, most of which unpublished, were exhibited for the first time; the documents were about her interest and work on fabric design. Some were original drawings, print tests, and textile samples. The original pictures were arranged in chronological order, starting from her studies at the professional silk processing school of Como in the 1920s to her textile collections in the 1950s, made for the major local companies as well as world-famous Parisian tailors, Hubert de Givenchy and Pierre Balmain.
